Pet Food Express

The staff is always helpful and friendly and unlike other big chain places they actually know stuff about dog nutrition. Their bathing system is very nice. My only wish is that the dryer would heat up as it takes a long time for the dogs to dry with lack of heat but I understand for saftey reasons why it stays cool

We have been bathing our dogs at Pet Food Express for years and have always had great experiences until this week. We visited on a Tuesday afternoon and found all of the stations filthy with hair and used towels except for one. That would have been OK because at least there was a clean station for us. However, all of the aprons were dirty, coated in hair. The aloe/hemp shampoo smelled like it had been switched for something cheap with fragrance. That should be the most natural/skin sensitive option. So, we used the eucalyptus and teatree instead. Our dog has been itching for two days so now I am concerned that this shampoo was also swapped with something cheap. Went here to price catfood and discovered there is a 'wash your own dog station'. I figure if I was a dog owner I would like to know about this. I'm not sure the dogs liked it, but the people were definitely in a comfortable environment for getting the job done. Haven't a clue how much it costs to use the station, but there is a station available.

Good selection and the staff was helpful. We have a picky pup and I’m grateful for options nearby. Puppy tax included!
