My partner and I adopted our cat from the Peninsula Humane Society in Burlingame yesterday, and we couldn’t be more grateful. The staff and volunteers were so kind, knowledgeable, and clearly devoted to the animals — they knew our cat’s story and personality. The whole process felt caring and thoughtful, and it was heartwarming to see their genuine joy when our adoption was finalized. The cats here are truly loved. Thank you for helping us find our perfect match! 💛

Amazing care & compassion. I have a cat who will turn 20 in April, surrendered at 17. Had neck mass. PHS biopsied & removed. Benign. Very loving kitty. Grateful. So far William (name was Lucky when surrendered) has had almost 3 more years with me. He is black which makes it harder to adopt. Gets along well with my other 2 cats.

We adopted our kitten here - they had so many! This place is so well run and they take great care of the animals. You even get post adoption vet assistance for 2 weeks, which we also used and they hooked us up with free prescription food for the kitty. The entire process was so smooth and pleasant. And we paid $120 for our new Son, which was very worth it since he also had all his shots and he was already chipped and house trained. We're very grateful! We love this place and have adopted multiple animals here. The volunteers are all so nice and caring and the animals are well taken care of. If you are reading this in October of 2025, there are TONS of kittens! I highly recommend getting a friend when adopting a kitten (aka adopt in pairs)!

Not a shelter, but a five star hotel for cats. Super clean, super organized, and super friendly staff. Allie helped us, she was super amazing and patient with us. She stayed with us even after closing time just to help us finish the paperwork. She went through every little detail with us, and for that we’re super grateful. The adoption fee is nothing honestly. The cats are neutered/spayed, vaccinated, with health checkups. If you’re a cat owner, you know how expensive these things are. Yet, it was only $120. Anyways, Harry found a new home with us and we gave him a new name, Lychee 😅
