Really an excellent facility, with good service, with helpful staff and friendly assistance. Unfortunately, im giving it a 1 Star, as, i really had a bad experience with a certain individual However... truly hope you don't end up having to deal with "Coordinator" Greg Smyth... This was a truly frustrating experience dealing with him!!! He doesn't reply to any direct questions and requests i addressed to him, he's abrupt, Hugely unfriendly, in general i get the idea he doesn't like people, and not helpful in àny way in the whole process!! He even badmouthed our South African Agent that went beyond to assist us fantastic way Greg, food for thought... if you are dealing with people, a simple friendly thank you goes a looking way...

We brought our dog home after an assignment in South Asia. Pender was outstanding - working with us to make sure all the CDC and DHS issues were addressed. Mike Hart was in constant touch and when weekly weather issues delayed his trip by a month made sure that our reservations stayed intact. On the day he arrived Pender was in touch and kept us abreast of everything going on. We highly recommend their service and commend their commitment to customer service and pet comfort and treatment. We recently flew internationally into the United States with our dog and had to go through the inspection and veterinary process at Pender Pet CDC Animal Care Facility. Overall, the experience was positive but I had only one issue. On the positive side, the staff ultimately helped ensure our dog was examined and released the same day, which was a huge relief. We were very worried about her having to stay overnight after a long international flight, so being able to take her home the same day meant a lot to us. However, the process and communication could have been much clearer. While at the airport, we happened to meet another family who mentioned that they had paid an additional fee for a veterinarian to come in after hours so their dog could be released the same day since their flight

I brought my puppy from Brazil. When looking for a kennel from the CDC list, I sent messages to all of them. The kennel that showed the best communication was Pet Tender. They always responded to emails and phone calls very quickly. The kennel in Atlanta didn’t respond to several emails or calls at all. The one in Miami are exploitative and just want to take your money. The one in New York are extremely inflexible. From the beginning, Pet Tender showed a reliable, professional, and flexible approach, adapting to the arrival flight needs in my case. Even though the trip became longer since my final destination was Boston, I chose to take my baby to Pet Tender. I do not regret it at all. Mr. Craig’s support was exceptional. I highly recommend this kennel as the best option on the CDC list.
