They saved my dogs life and let me do payments. The cost was half of what other vets charge. He was 8 months old and kicked by a horse which broke his femur. My 10 week old German Shepherd broke his tibia in several places and needed surgery. Dr. Ahluwalia and Dr. Murphy performed the surgery. They put in a plate with 9 screws along the length of the bone. My puppy within 2 weeks was feeling great. He recovered so quickly!!! It was difficult for us to keep him still because he was ready to be a puppy. Over the next 4 weeks you couldn’t tell he ever had a surgery. We took him to our vet for his 3rd round of shots and she truly didn’t know what leg was operated on. She mentioned that he looked fantastic and that the Doctors that performed the surgery did a great job. I highly recommend them!

We were lucky to have found Life Care Pet Hospital for TPLO surgery on our 100lb Shepherd after interviewing four DVMs. Dr 'A' proved an expert. We quickly accepted his reasonable estimate and recommended surgery timeline. Our dog did well in post surgery rehab and had no complications. Our GSD wasn't in pain after surgery and for the most part, he didn't want medications. He's recovered his mobility as we hoped, and has about 95% agility. There are certain athletic movements that he can't do anymore, but the TPLO surgery and recovery were extremely successful. Thank you Dr A and your most pleasant staff for your help!! 🙏 Sincerely. I can’t even begin to describe what a positive experience I had at this hospital. I’m from CT and drove 6 hrs to have my French bulldog get his BOAS surgery done here. Why? I had tons of consultations with various doctors and within one email back and forth with Dr. A who sent me the most detailed email on his procedure I finally felt confident that this was the best place to bring my baby. Dr. A uses a harmonic scapel (google it) to do this surgery (at least on the palette part) and it cuts and seals simultaneously with no sutures on the palette are making recovery time minimal. How do I know all of this? He makes you so informed on the entire process, he showed us some other before and after pictures and was just so unbelievably kind. I drove almost four hours to visit this Vet. Dr,A was so nice and kind. He was so patient with me and I was so worried about my dog. I have a French bulldog who needed soft pallet surgery and his nares done. They were absaloutley fabulous to work with. The let me sit in a room with my dog during recovery. The pricing was affordable. Over all I’m super pleased. This clinic has been given bad reviews for personality and not one time did I experience any bad behavior. They were so caring and nice during the entire process. I will DEFINTLEY be returning for any major surgeries it is absolutely worth the drive for me because I live 3.5 hours from chantilly. Not one time was one person rude to me here.
