Pedro Pet Pals

We had such a wonderful adoption experience with Pedro Pet Pals! The volunteers were so welcoming, kind, and helpful throughout the whole process. We ended up adopting a kitten-Amber (formerly Makana), and she’s already bonded beautifully with our family, especially her dog sister! We’re so grateful to Pedro Pet Pals for helping us find our perfect match. 💕🐱

Horrible place! I was accused of burning my cat alive. I just lost my cat from natural causes, she had a seizure. I spent hours on the phone and borrowed the money to pay for her recent hospito bills. I am super hurt and really miss my cat. I am disabled and my cat would always be within 2 feet of me. I don't know what or where this gossip came from. I called the person they said told them this story. She is on her way to the place. She also said that is not true. I am beside myself and really hurting.

I visited this rescue and was so impressed. The kittens/cats were playful, friendly and looked extremely well cared for. The staff helped me select the perfect young kitty for my older kitty at home and for me (see pic). I could not be happier with the wonderful kitty I adopted!

Had the pleasure of adding 3 new family members from here. The facility is really nice and worth coming and donating! These people are doing great work and I wish I could've added more than 3. Carol is very communicative and Clint was a pleasure showing us around. I highly recommend finding your new kitty or cat here and our family is thankful! Thanks guys!

My husband and I recently had an unpleasant experience at Pet Pals in San Pedro, which has made us question whether the staff truly prioritize helping cats find their forever homes. We were outside looking through the window with our cat, as we are interested in adopting a companion for him. Since he isn’t very agile and is extremely calm, we always carry him either in our arms or in his crate, which we had with us at the time. He is not easily scared and does not run away, so we are always confident in handling him safely. Just a few minutes before, we had taken him to his veterinarian, whose office is located right next door to Pet Pals. After his check-up, we stopped by to look at the cats through the window.
