Dr Moss was the only vet who was able to help our puppy. We are so lucky we found Dr Moss and the AYS team. We saw 4 other vets previously and none were able to help our puppy with his painful and recurrent anal gland abscess & infection. Dr Moss was able to resolve the issue and our sweet Cooper is now able to enjoy his puppyhood pain free. Thank you AYS vet hospital!

Updated review 9/15/25: I wanted to share an update after saying goodbye to our 14 ½ year-old dog, Charley. What began as a routine surgery uncovered terminal health issues, and I believe Dr. Moss and his team helped us give her the most peaceful ending possible. From the nurse staying with me after euthanasia so I could sit and share stories about my girl, to Dr. Moss offering to keep her at the hospital during the day after multiple days of testing so my husband and I could go home and rest, to staff coming out to our car when we were afraid to pick her up because of her frightening syncopal episodes during recovery…. their compassion was felt every step of the way. I am heartbroken, but I’m also incredibly grateful for the care, honesty, and humanity Dr. Moss and his staff showed us

My dog was throwing up and having loose bowels with blood. Doctor Moss recommended x-rays, blood work, fecal testing and a urinalysis. Everything came back normal. My dog was not getting better. The doctor never tested her for pancreatitis which she should have been tested for when they did the initial blood work. When she wasn't improving, the doctor wanted me to bring her in to do an ultrasound which I held back on because I was still waiting for the test results to come in. I asked the office to have the doctor call me with the results and ask him some additionial questions and he never did. After spending $1100.00 you think he would at least followed up with me but he never called back and I just got a text response. I texted back and again no follow up.Their website and voicemail say

I am so thankful with God for Dr.Moss. My german shepherd was sick for years. Paid thousands of dollars with others vets. Nothing was done. I still have to sleep my baby his back bone and legs gave up but I am so blessed I did what I could for my Dog, my baby 🙏 Thank you for all you do.

I just wanted to say how impressed I was with this Veterinary office. I had an emergency and needed help right away. The office was so accommodating. Dr. Moss was very kind, caring and very gentle with my shy girl. I am so happy to find him and this office. The staff is fantastic! I highly recommend them and have found my new vet in the San Pedro area.
