Pecan Grove Kennel

Our dogs are always happy to go there and return well cared for. We have been utilizing their services for almost 30 years, and have never had a problem. One time we tried going to a less expensive place and it took our dogs a week to get back to normal when we pick them up. Pecan Grove Kennel is definitely worth the cost.

Everyone is always so nice. My dog always gets stressed out when I take her to a boarder. Now that I bring her to PG Kennel, she gets excited when we get there and runs to the door. I feel very comfortable leaving my dog with them.

I will absolutely bring my Nala back here every time!! I will be moving my business from PetSuites for many reasons : honesty, kindness, family owned, transparency, cleanliness, staff and how happy Nala is here! Too that customer service that is unmatched and prices that do not break the bank.

Disappointing Experience with Employee Pete, Despite Excellent Care from Jordan I am both sad and disappointed to be writing this review. I want to make it clear that my concerns are solely related to an interaction with one specific employee, Pete, and not with the facility itself or its manager, Jordan, who has always been wonderful to my dogs and me. My husband and I moved to the Richmond area a year ago, and Pecan Grove Kennels came highly recommended by our vet clinic. Over the past year, we’ve had nothing but positive experiences — until today. Pete has always given me an uneasy feeling. The staff did a fantastic job with our fur babies! We were all a bit nervous since they've never stayed away from home. However, the staff put our minds at ease with the facility tour and the opportunity to meet the amazing staff. Upon pick up we could tell they were well taken care of. We'll definitely recommend PGK to others and we'll be back again for our next cruise. 🤗
