I don’t even know where to begin when it comes to Melissa she has completely changed our lives. When we started training, Remi was scared of the world. She struggled with reactivity, fear, and resource guarding, and I honestly didn’t know if we’d ever get to a place of peace. She began class on a calming protocol and in a muzzle, and I remember wondering if we’d ever move past those things. I cannot recommend Melissa with Pawsitive Potential Dog Training LLC enough. It is extremely clear that Melissa loves working with dogs and their owners. She has a great deal of knowledge that makes her classes informative and her personal demeanor allows these classes to be engaging and fun. My husband and I enrolled our Cardigan Welsh Corgi puppy, Bear, in the Level 2 class after he completed a basic puppy class. Admittedly, Bear was much younger than all of the other dogs in the class and probably wasn't quite at the same levels developmentally. Melissa refused to let us get discouraged and instead adjusted aspects of the class to where Bear was currently at in his training... these small modifications not only helped Bear grasp what we were asking from him, but significantly helped us

We have adopted 2 dogs with some adjustment difficulties, including being skittish and aggressive to other dogs, we are doing private training because of it. She is kind and patient with the dogs and is constantly looking for solutions to the problems come up.she also helps remind us of how far we have come. Melissa does a great job. Focuses on what each dog needs and best way to help the owner be successful. Will keep taking more classes. Small classes so lots of individual attention.
