While the reason we had to find Dr. Pettey and his team weren’t ideal; I’m so glad we found them! Our sweet little pup tore her CCL and we had been advised she needed surgery to repair. We had scheduled surgery at another facility in Illinois that only offers TPLO for the treatment. We were all scheduled and a few days before the surgery I started to think we should have gotten another opinion. I called around a few places, and when I called Pleasant Prairie Animal Hospital I knew they would be the ones to help. Really highly recommend!!! The ease of making an appointment, check-in and check-out was amazing! Also the staff is wonderful at recommending solutions, very friendly and can have a good laugh!! It was my cats first time at the vet and she was comfortable (a little scared obviously its a new place) the doctor was super nice and and gentle with her she never hissed once ( that was a surprise to me)!! 10/10!!

Staff very friendly, George Washington loves going, Dr Pettey does a great job listening and connecting with your pets, he works well with his staff specially on his Birthday matching outfits. Dr. Barron worked well with George, she made sure he was healthy, very friendly and she responded fast when I had a nauseous kitty.

We brought Jack to Pleasant Prairie when we first got him in March 2025. He has been seeing Dr. Kelly ever since. Yesterday (1/7/26) we took him to be neutered. Everything went well and Jack came home sleepy. I am very pleased with the care he received and am anxious to get him healed and ready for play time this summer.
