Barbara is an incredible trainer. She has extensive experience working with dogs of all different backgrounds, including assistance dogs. When we first started, I had a 1.8 year old duck tolling retriever, and we really worked on getting him up to speed with tasks to aid with my daily function as well as ensuring his behavior in public was exemplary. She only uses positive reinforcement and is able to get her mind inside that special bond between you and your dog to create an environment where you are both successful. I thought YouTube videos would be enough for training but she really has such a depth and fund of knowledge that comes from years of experience that you likely can’t get from just reading a book or watching a few videos.
