I have the oldest dog their. I dont let anyone around my dog without me around but I let them. They are good with my old man. I have never had a problem with anything they have done. I even bring my horse of a dog which is a akbash and they have never complained. They have never complained about my old dog which is a shih tzu that wants to sit down all the time. The groomers are knowledgeable and always nice. Never smart or cocky. Just do the job. Never seen a bad side and I show up late sometimes. But I live 1 block away so when they call to ask where im at I'm their in 3 minutes.

As always I’ve had another great experience with Paws! My dog is always well groomed and cared for with them. No coming back wet or still having a smell. Even the nails are done with care. This time my boy was getting his first full groom and dished post surgery. They did a great job ensuring he was not hurt or overwhelmed with the services.

PAWS ON THE GEAUX REVIEW: Don’t make the mistake of having a family emergency and trying to reschedule a grooming appointment with Paws on the Geaux. Notice I said reschedule, not cancel. I’ve never had to reschedule or cancel before, but they still kept my 50% deposit. Their policy states that if you cancel within 24 hours, you forfeit the deposit — but I was only 20 minutes short of that window, and again, I was rescheduling, not canceling entirely. With two Cocker Spaniels, that meant losing over $100 for something completely out of my control. I completely understand the need for business policies and boundaries, but having one that’s so rigid and lacks consideration for genuine emergencies is poor customer service and, frankly, a bad business plan. I can't recommend Paws on the Geaux enough! We’ve boarded our boys countless times with them & feel completely confident leaving them in their care. The staff is not only friendly and attentive but also genuinely passionate about animals. They take the time to learn your dog's personality, preferences, and routines, which makes all the difference. The facility itself is spotless, secure, and thoughtfully designed to provide comfort, playtime, and rest. I had a reservation for boarding and the owner would not honor the policy’s stated on the website. She was incredibly rude and started to take it out on me personally that she lost “$23,000” in the past for previous cancellations. Maybe if she wasn’t so condescending to customers they would have trusted her with their animals. As soon as I talked to her she made sure to charge my card for the remaining reservation amount. Here is what it says on the website. “• A 50% Deposit is required at the time of Reservation. If you cancel the day before or the day of the Boarding Reservation or within 72 Hours of a Holiday Boarding Reservation the Deposit is Forfeit.” I would not trust this woman with pets that you care about.
