My black lab, Shadow, had recently started drinking enormous amounts of water and peeing much more than usual and I had no idea that, in the case of a female dog, those symptoms are considered a medical emergency. When I called my Vet on a Friday at 10am and told them about her symptoms they booked me an appt. for the following Monday as if they were “no big deal” and when I arrived on Monday for her appt at Sierra Wellness Center in Colfax SUDDENLY her symptoms constituted an emergency. Before the vet even examined her she said she thought Shadow had Pyometra. I was furious. Why was it an emergency on Monday but “no big deal” on Friday. They wanted to do $900 worth of bloodwork and $3,000.00 for an emergency spay and the vet seemed annoyed when the $$$ wasn’t already in my wallet waiting

We found a kitten put a tarp string around its neck its eyes weren't even open they were very helpful and accommodating that we have our very first cat in our whole lives both me and my husband they fixed her and now we love her to death she is 5 months old they are the best

They are amazing staffs..explains so well where we understand. They have patience, kind, most of all show love for you and your pets. I would recommend them. They are nbr 1 to go to. My dog have cancer..and knowing he wont make it, they gave me a room to spend alot of quality time with him. Also, I am almost deaf. Amazing job where they speak loud and clear..and photos to explain his (beloved pet) his situation. My heart ❤️ go out to everyone those staffs. Big love!!! Marie and Daniel.

Had my meows spayed there today, the staff was very nice even though they were extremely busy with a lot of people and pets to deal with. I scheduled a follow up for my meow, Moxie Radar Love Meow 💕😺

Loved the work an help they are giving the surrounding community. Vaccines all around an spay jobs for the 2 rescued kittens.
