We cannot say enough wonderful things about Paws and Claws. From the moment you walk in, you can feel how much they truly care. The entire team — from the front desk staff to the doctors and techs — treats every animal like their own. They consistently go above and beyond, not just in medical care but in compassion and communication. They take the time to explain everything thoroughly and answer every question. What truly sets them apart is that they never make you feel like your concerns are silly or insignificant. They listen to every worry and take the time to dig deeper to find the root cause, making sure your pet receives the best possible care. You never feel rushed — you feel supported and understood. We trust them completely, and we will never take our dogs or any of our animals

PNC was a great vet clinic when I started taking my dog there but recent service and care is subpar. Unprofessional front desk staff and turnover, errors in providing correct treatments by clinicians, failure to follow up on urgent labs, unnecessary testing regardless of chronic care issues, etc. If you complain, the front desk refuses to resolve or involve doctors. Doctors will not return request for conversation about mistakes. There are much better options in Foco.

My family is thrilled to have found this veterinary practice. The Drs and staff are some of the kindest, most compassionate people for the care of our pets that I have found not only in Ft. Collins, but in other states where we have lived. They listen attentively, they offer advice and recommendations for any issue raised, and through their demeanor as they treat our pets, they calm any apprehension they may have for being in a vet's office. As strange and unusual as it seems, my Charli (whippet/pit) and Mylesdavis (grey tabby) look forward to their visits. The office is comfortable, the staff is friendly and professional, and the doctors are exceptionally attentive and knowledgeable. On top of all that, they are affordable which is much appreciated during these uncertain economic times. I

The tech Grace was very friendly and sweet to with my pup, even though it was extra hard for me since COVID regulations here do not allow the human inside. I got phone time with the vet and opportunity to ask any questions with him. Affordble shots and vaccinations. Easy to get your doggo in for an appointment in a timely manner. The staff is very explanatory and up front with costs/ necessary actions. My pup was not happy to have had shots and been poked, but I think she enjoyed meeting all the staff and getting attention from them, masked up and all!

Dr. West has cared for 2 of our cats so far, and has been thorough, knowledgable and empathetic both times. The 1st cat he saw only once when we first moved to town, only to tell us the cat was at the end of his life (we knew he had worsening kidney disease but didn't realize it was at that point), and both Dr. West & the staff were so compassionate and helpful. Our 2nd cat is a 17-year old who needed serious dental work, and he walked us thru all the risks and procedures and made sure we were comfortable with what was going to happen. He did such a great job and she clearly felt much better even one day after the procedure. Ended up costing less than the estimate, which was a bonus. Words can't express how appreciative we are for the great care from Dr. West & his team.
