When I rescued my eight-month-old Labrador retriever-mix, I quickly realized that he would require special attention to overcome the difficulties of his formative months. I intensively researched and spoke with a dog trainer friend that lives across the country in order to prepare for my dog’s arrival home, however, there is no shame in asking for help from a qualified local professional. I was drawn to Paws at Attention LLC not only based on the credentials on the site but also because they are a veteran-owned local business. Heather evaluated my dog’s needs and my goals for my dog, and then she customized a training plan. Heather was also available to answer any questions or concerns I had in between training sessions and would adjust the training plan as needed to facilitate the best

I discovered a fantastic dog boarding facility run by Heather. Paws at attention is my dog boarding place to go. After a terrible experience with another boarding school where my dog fell ill, I was relieved to find a place where my pet receives individual care and attention. Now, I can finally plan my vacation without worrying about my furry friend's well-being. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to any dog owner looking for a safe and caring environment for their pet while they're away.

We love Heather!! She was amazing during our time with her and our super energetic Schnauzer puppy. She's got the gentle, but firm approach. She was able to communicate to us clearly that helped us reinforce the training more effectively more at home. We highly recommend her.
