This vet is amazing!!! Dr. Murray and Dr. Prestia take their time with each animal, they do full assessments, and make sure each animal has the best quality of care! I take all of my 6 fur babies to Great Scottie Vet. I am so glad I have found them to care for my babies!!!

We've had our puppy Teddy with Great Scottie since he came home to us and have received excellent care since! There are lots of vet visits as a puppy and each experience was informative and thorough. This is our first family pet and we had a lot to learn! Dr. Murray and his team are always super helpful, compassionate and are clearly experts in their fields. I feel completely confident taking our little guy to him to receive care. I highly, highly recommend Great Scottie!

I cannot thank or recommend Dr. Murray and the rest of the staff at Great Scottie Vet enough for saving my baby Matcha’s life! If y’all had seen us (Matcha and I) when we first stepped in to now, our follow up visit 2 weeks later, you’d see just how much of a difference they’ve made! The pics/vids I attach will show you that Matcha went from being lethargic/dying to being lively and a menace to society once more! Firstly, I didn’t have a primary vet here in MD after moving here from out of state. Matcha was acting very much not like himself and I was so worried and called many vets and only Great Scottie Vet made space to allow a check up for a walk-in and thank goodness they did! My husband and I (recently married) decided that it was time to add a furry friend to our family. This is our first pet together and we were at bit of a loss for how many things go into being good pet owners. One of those things is finding a good vet. Our Golden Retriever puppy is 9 weeks old and we had our first visit with Dr. Murray today. The clinic was super clean and the staff was so friendly! Dr. Murray explained proper puppy care to me including the dangers of bringing her to high traffic dog areas and how to avoid illnesses like Parvo, something we definitely don’t want our precious pup to get! Needless to say her first exam went so well and we’re looking forward to continuing her care with Dr. Murray and Great Scottie. Enjoy her picture below, taken after her very first vet visit!

Our labradoodle, Jack, got sick while we were visiting family in Annapolis. Dr. Murray was kind enough to see Jack even though he was not one of his clients. Dr. Murray gave Jack the most thorough exam that he had ever received. This caring vet diagnosed the issue and within 48 hours Jack was feeling and acting like himself again. We were so grateful to Dr. Murray and his staff. If we lived in the area we would most certainly choose Great Scottie as our veterinary clinic.
