Adopted Theo, the love of my life here. The person working there seemed to know who would be a good match for me, as I needed a dog that could go to work daily, be well behaved, attend events, and who was calm and small. They let me take him home for a week, although I knew right away I couldn't live without him. He stole a big shocking pink stuffed toy on the way out the door and I looked back at her and she winked and smiled and waved us on. There was great follow-up check on us, and she called people and reported to them. I met the person he went home with at night and she taught me about his personality. Adopted an amazing rescue dog. I love her with all my heart and it feels great to give a rescue kid a home. The staff was so nice to us., excellent. Took her to visit them later, and she was so happy to see all the staff which indicated to me that they treated her well. Very great! Please adopt and give a fur kid all their dreams of peace tranquility and a safe and loving family.

This is the second time we’ve successfully adopted a dog from Pawworks. They always seem to help us find a perfect match. Animals are well taken care of while waiting for a new home. Dennis was exceptionally helpful.

Me and my family both recently adopted two dogs from here, (a nine week old chihuahua puppy and a one year old chihuahua mix.) Everyone was very sweet and kind through out the process, and were more than willing to educate us and tell us all about the dogs we were adopting. The adoption process did take a few hours, but was definitely worth it. They do require you to purchase a leash, collar, and harness, but I think if you bring your own you won't be made to buy these items. The fee for adopting the dogs is quite high, (I'm pretty sure the puppy was 500 and the one year old was 450) but I'm assuming this goes back into helping the dogs they take in. Brought my dog here twice. She walked out WORSE TWICE. 1st time she couldn’t walk- 2nd time she was DEAD. This place has decent reviews and was close so we started taking my senior dog, Coco, to PawWorks. The first time was for a check up/shots. I mentioned to the vet that sometimes she’s limped and could he took a look. He took her to examine to the back of the clinic where you can’t see anything. Coco came back and was placed directly into my arms (she’s 15 lbs ish) and I placed her in the car and drove home. At home I discovered she couldn’t walk!! I called back and they asked me to bring her back in. When I got there they wanted to do a set of X-rays and charge me the cost to fix the new problem they made. The last time was in August 2024.
