This place is nirvana for me and my dogs!! I am so welcomed every time I walk in, even when it’s super busy. Kimbie, Robyn, Stacy and Alix are so kind, helpful and uber knowledgeable! They even remember what my babies eat and treats they love! They let me wander the store and even hang out and chat! They only stock food and treats and supplements that they have researched and trust. I’m crazy for Paw Basics!!!

As someone who’s shopped at EVERY other pet store here in San Antonio this place is a gem! The whole staff is amazing. From their knowledgeable suggestions to their warm welcoming attitude! I will forever support these wonderful people ! Thank you for providing my pack the best nutrition and making every trip enjoyable

This place is amazing. They are so knowledgeable about everything for your pets. They will even special order food if your dogs have specific needs. They have helped my dogs so much by getting them on the correct food. Best pet store in San Antonio by far!! They have a huge selection of raw food as well as Kibble and treats. Also my dogs are obsessed with coming here!! I make it a point to bring them every few weeks… They Are always given pup cups, and treats, and lots of loving pets by the employees and owners!!!

Paw Basics is hands down the best pet store out there. We travel several hours to purchase food, supplements, treats and all sorts of goodies probably monthly and have done so for years. Kim and the staff are all extremely knowledgeable in pet nutrition and have helped me tremendously with my allergy prone and chronically ill German shepherd. She’s up to date with the latest news in the pet food world and always tells me if a change may affect my dogs. They know us well and are always kind and welcoming. We love Paw Basics!
