We moved to California summer 2024 with our two dogs. The day we got here my older dog tore her knee and we immediately had to find a new vet. Dr Knowles was the first person we met and we were so comforted by the way she handled our situation and provided transparency as to our options for recovery, and helped walk us through each step of her process to heal. Unfortunately our other dog ended up with skin issues and although we had hoped to see the same Dr, unavailability inevitably happens which is completely understandable. However, after this last encounter with Dr. Jakober, I will ensure we will not have an appointment with her again. We have heard about this place from multiple sources who take their dogs here for B&C and day care! We were a little nervous dropping off our dog, Pepper who usually stays with a relative. We loved how easy it was to get her a spot here and how easy it was to contact staff. We notified them of her allergy to grass and notified, they use fake grass which is a plus. When we got there, we were showed where she would stay. It was very clean and the facility looked well managed. It was comforting knowing that they provide grooming services and it's attached to a vet! The staff at drop off were very friendly. 5 days later, we arrived to pick her up. Bait and switched me. I came here the first time and it was good. Regular exam and vaccines. I scheduled a follow up during my first visit and the technician tells me the next time when my dog is due for a booster it will only be $30. Great. Showed up to my appointment today expecting to pay just that and ended up paying $67. I asked why it was that much for a booster. There’s a needle fee and a technician fee. I confronted her about it and asked why she told me it was going to be $30 last time and she told me “well technically it is $30 as the vaccine booster itself is that much” it’s not about the money. It’s 100% about integrity and transparency and I really don’t like bait and switch tactics. Will not come back to this location.

July30-August4,2025 . Was my cruise and now with a dog I needed care for her while I was away . After reading reviews of different care providers, Parkway Animal Care Center was my top choice. Solely Based on reviews I dropped in to check out the place got a tour no problem. I talked to a customer in the lobby who was picking up his dog. He expressed he’s been using this location before it was parkway animal care, which made me feel comfortable with my decision. I believe I was more nervous than my dog who’s a pittbull. Thank you Grace and Staff for a good Experience all staff were really nice , Grace was patient and answered all my questions . Nala, enjoyed her stay, I got her groomed by them the day of pick up.
