Park and Bark

Update (1/17/2026): I am still awaiting the call that was promised after Thanksgiving in response to my review. BELOW THE REVIEW I didn’t ask for a refund — I asked them to care! This happened on August 15th, and I’m still disappointed by how Park & Bark handled it. We rebooked with Victoria because she was sweet, gentle with our rescue dog Melvin, and left him looking absolutely handsome after his first groom. But no one told us she had left the company. I only found out at the time of the appointment when a different groomer texted that she was on her way (screenshot attached). If they had simply called, I would’ve canceled — not out of inconvenience, but to avoid stressing our rescue unnecessarily. This was our first experience with Park & Bark. We decided to try it out for our aging pet and we were not disappointed. It was easy to schedule an appointment and the groomer arrived promptly at the appointed time. She had a very pleasing demeanor and greeted us at our door with a courteous smile. She gently handled our pet, Coco and asked a few general questions about any health concerns. She was back in around 45 minutes with a very fresh looking and well brushed Coco (we had only booked for a bath). The overall experience with this mobile groomer has been very positive and we now intend to call them back for our other pet, Bella.

Elizabeth was wonderful! My dog Teddy is a rescue and I originally tried to take him to VIP pet spa in wantagh and was told by them that teddy tried to bite her when being put in the bath and that he was just “too large”. I was shocked since Teddy is so sweet and gentle with humans and other dogs. I tried park and bark and they were great! I took precautions and had my dog muzzled and slightly sedated per the vets recommendation and Elizabeth was so kind and understanding and really took care of Teddy. She said he was wonderful and didn’t try to bit her or anything and that next time he probably doesn’t even need the muzzle or sedation. I will deff be using her again. Seeing my dog happy and cared for makes me so happy. Thank you park and bark and thank you again Elizabeth!

The groomers are good, however Elisabeth left (smart on her). The people running it and doing the scheduling are terrible. There’s no communication at all they will just change your times and dates then send you a text time change confirmation. No phone calls. No discussions about what date and time works for you. After they did this to me the third time I cancelled their services.
