An answer to my prayers! When our 1 year old rat son presented with emergency symptoms over last weekend, I left a message on the practice voicemail at 9pm Saturday night and by Sunday morning I received a call from staff showing great concern and scheduling me for an appointment first thing Monday morning. When we arrived at the hospital, Dr. Lambert and technician Isabel were so professional, caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable. Alucard was admitted to the hospital for a full workup and treatment, which gave us a diagnosis of autoimmune anemia and kidney dysfunction. With treatments, Alucard is now home and doing SO much better with supportive care. He will be seeing Dr. Lambert and Dr. Lee this upcoming Monday for his recheck and we are all hoping for the best for our rat Alucard.

This is - paws down - the most BUNDERFUL vet clinic I've ever gone to. A few months ago, I had to put my elder bun, Thumpkins, to sleep. It was such a hard decision to make and I was so grateful for their guidance. He had been "off" for weeks and none of the other clinics I took him to could tell me what was going on. I'm so glad I brought him here. They figured out what was going on (cancer) and were extremely compassionate as I figured out what I wanted to do. Then, they sent me a beautiful, hand-drawn portrait of Thumpkins as a condolence card. So sweet. I'm relieved I brought him here when I did. He got the best care possible when he most needed it. I had my bunny spayed here and the experience was amazing. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive from start to finish. They took the time to explain everything clearly and made me feel comfortable and informed. My bunny recovered very well and is doing great at home. I’m so grateful for the care and attention they gave her. Highly recommend!

Both the staff and clinical team at LI Bird and Exotics are comprised of actual earth angels. They are immensely kind, thorough, and accommodating to all of your babies’ health concerns. We have been with them for years and I STRONGLY recommend anyone with birds to consider coming here. In 12/2024, after having her for around 1.5 yrs, one of our budgies, Kiki, become violently ill (vomiting, lethargic, avoiding food). We got an emergency visit with Dr. Lee, who quite literally saved Kiki’s life by testing and rapidly diagnosing her with avian gastric yeast. She was also able to test our other budgie, Sonny (who thankfully did not have AGY). After treating x 1 month with medication, Kiki was cured and restored to her former bubbly, chaotic self! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ They saved my bird’s life! Our sweet Kiwi was extremely unwell when we arrived, and although I would never recommend showing up anywhere without an appointment, that’s exactly what we did. We drove 40 minutes, desperate for help after being denied by other places, and took a chance by coming here. I’m so grateful we did—they saved Kiwi! The staff was incredibly thorough, sympathetic, and genuinely loving. They treated Kiwi as if he were their own, and their care made all the difference. It’s safe to say that Kiwi will forever be under their care from now on. Highly, highly recommend!
