Oradell Veterinary Group of Fort Lee

I had an unfortunate experience at Oradell Fort Lee that, while it could have been a minor issue, was handled extremely poorly and demonstrated a lack of concern for both a pet’s health and a pet owner’s peace of mind. On 1/9/26, I placed an order with Amazon for HeartGard Plus and provided all the required veterinary information for approval. I never heard back from either Amazon or Oradell. On 1/16/26, I emailed Oradell to confirm whether the prescription request had been received. Andrea from Oradell responded, stating that the order was never received on their end. Around the same time, Amazon canceled the order due to no response. I immediately placed a new order and emailed Andrea again with the order number to help expedite the process. Friends in the area recommended this veterinary practice, and we generally find the staff very welcoming. However, a significant issue arose during this morning's booster appointment for one of my puppies. After the male doctor examined the first pup, I noticed a strong cigarette odor on the puppy immediately upon receiving her back. This was unprofessional, suggesting he did not wash his hands or does not notice that he smells like cigarettes. Because we like the rest of the practice, we requested to see a different veterinarian for the follow-up appointment.

We’ve been with Oradell for 3 years and throughout the time have changed some other vets because of moving, but this is the best vet and we sticked to them even though we have moved. They also have an 24 hour ER and hospital in Jersey for any bigger operation needed. Doctors are helpful and knowledgeable and so are the staff! When we call to make appointments the front desk always gives us advice and answers to some questions or loop in doctors if needed. There is one time when our dog is very sick and we need to make an appointment last minute. They very actively helped us arrange it for a slot next day. This is the place that we feel that we can trust to take care of our precious little one.

Dr. Parker and her team treated my cat and me with sincere kindness and true professionalism, going the extra mile on numerous occasions. Thank you for everything you did for him. I’m so grateful to have found a team I could truly trust.

Oradell Vet is great for our dog. We always had great results with our golden retriever around any kind of sickness and if you know about Goldens, they are a very sensitive breed about being sick. But touch wood our fur boy who is a year and half now is very healthy and happy.
