I have come to know OAH and the incredibly talented staff very well over the last several months while I received care for Marco, my best friend for 9+ years. Everyone at this hospital is truly passionate about animals, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who wants the absolute best care for their furbabies. Marco went to heaven yesterday in search of a good spot to soak up the sun. I don't think that hole in my heart will ever be filled, but I will be forever grateful to everyone here who provided the best care for him. Dr. Nicole, Dr. Jenna, Devin, Olivia, Shannon, Trinity, Kayla, Lilly, Chelsea, Luke and everyone who did everything to help Marco when he needed it most - thank you. It means so much to me, and I will never forget it.

I recently brought my beloved 9-year-old Lab to Onalaska Animal Hospital for a growth in her mouth that required surgery. The entire staff was professional, compassionate, and friendly from start to finish. They thoroughly explained the procedure beforehand so I felt fully prepared, and afterward I was completely comfortable managing her post-op care at home. Their thorough pre-op testing even uncovered another potentially serious issue that had not been identified previously — something that could have been critical if left undetected. I’m incredibly grateful for their attentive, comprehensive care. I highly recommend them.

Onalaska Animal Hospital is fantastic. The staff is kind and welcoming, and you can tell they truly care. Dr. Macon is especially wonderful—he’s patient, thorough, and provides dedicated, compassionate care when it comes to my dog’s health and treatment. I never feel rushed and always feel confident my dog is in great hands. Highly recommend!

Awesome customer service from the front desk to the doctor! We took 2 parakeets in for a "wellness" check to be allowed to move them into assisted living and our entire experience was excellent!

One of my kitties wasn’t doing well, and the place that he had been seen previously wouldn’t see him and instead suggested I visit Eau Claire for their emergency vet. Fortunately, I gave Onalaska Animal Hospital a call (fourth vet I tried!), and not only were they willing to see him even though they hadn’t seen him previously, but they got him in the same day. Unfortunately, he was too far gone, and I had to make the difficult decision to put him down. They were so kind, compassionate, and caring that I switched my other two cats over to them. Cannot recommend them more highly. I know my pets are in great hands when I bring them in.
