What a great experience. My puppy is delightful and easier to control since Mark worked with her--and with me! He is very patient but also firm with his training . He is very knowledgeable and no nonsense,. He was quick to respond when we had questions during the training. It is difficult to release your new puppy to someone, but he is solid and knows how to teach with patience and with good explanations for what he is doing. Our puppy was and is quite active, but she became manageable and a joy after working with Mark. It is also a big plus that he comes to our home following the 3 week training and will do so as long as we think we need his advice and help.

We are so glad that we found Mark. Although we had used a different trainer when our Cyrus was about six months old, at two years of age, he just needed more behavior training and obedience training. And we needed training, too, on how to tweak our own behavior and interaction with Cyrus to help him become the best dog ever. Mark provides all of that. What really impressed us is that, even after three weeks of boarding and training at the facility, Mark includes follow up and follow through to ensure success. Our little guy is remarkably improved and we are thrilled. We would recommend him to anyone and everyone.

Meet Winston (left), brown SWD who was trained by Mark back in 2015 around the time Winston hit his toddler stage. Mark was able to teach Winston how to follow commands and taught me how to be the best dog owner. Simply love the family companionship with boundaries that he has helped our family instill. Thank you just isn’t enough. Will always recommend that any new dog owner and dog be trained by Mark! Winston has now trained his cousin Pike… they like to sit, lay, heel, dance, high five, chase squirrels and lizards and sing.

On Command K9 Academy exceeded all my expectations! My dog, Tonka, just completed a four-week board and train program with Mark, and the transformation is unbelievable. Mark made the whole process seamless from start to finish. He personally picked Tonka up from my home, which was incredibly convenient, and returned him after the training was completed. Throughout the four weeks, Mark kept me updated on Tonka's progress, which put my mind at ease. Tonka came back home a completely different dog. He’s well-behaved, listens to commands without hesitation, and is much calmer around distractions. It’s clear that Mark has a real gift for training dogs—his patience and expertise really shine through in the results. Mark also took the time to explain how I can continue reinforcing the training

Mark is amazing with dogs. True dog whisperer. My pup was aggressive with humans and dogs - being only 10lbs he’s very vicious ;). He got him to walk on a leash like a civilized dog and even approach other dogs in the park. Thank you mark for everything you’ve done for cooper!
