Very kind staff and good facilities. We found our dog through one of their Facebook posts. She is lovely and they go through a fair process to ensure their animals go to a loving home.
This shelter is the best! They do an extensive background to make sure the animals are placed in a proper home. The staff went up and beyond helping me with our adoption. They provide you with a complete history and vet records to make sure you know how to take care of your new pet. We love our new sophia!!
We adopted our dashing/poodle-bichon mix. She was 1 year old. We are in love with her! Funniest dog I have ever had. The staff of the HSLWR is so dedicated and will do what they can to find loving homes for these precious dogs of all ages and sizes. We visited other shelters but the staff of HSLWR really impressed us. Don’t buy a dog adopt. These angels need you! You will be happy you did! Adopt from HSLWR!.
We adopted two precious kittens. Clifford(orange tabby) and Tiny(now called Sweet Pea) have been such a joy to care for and cuddle up with each day.
