Old Line Veterinary Urgent Care

I cannot recommend Old Line enough! Dr. Saxton is incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly takes the time to care for every animal she sees! Her entire team is outstanding—professional, welcoming, and always willing to help! The pricing is very fair and transparent, and the treatment process is smooth and as quick as possible! It’s clear that everyone at Old Line genuinely loves animals and treats your pet as if it were their own. We are so grateful to have such an amazing veterinary team in our community!

We had to take our baby to ER vet due to limping on back leg, I already knew it was bone cancer due to being a greyhound! From check in until we left everyone was extremely nice and compassionate! For such a sad time in our life they made the process so much easier! Hopefully we won’t have to return but if we do we will definitely be choosing Old Line if they are open!

Lucy (14+ year old “pit-bull”) was in bad shape but they did everything they could for me! On a Sunday at 7:53 pm! Couldn’t get answers with bloodwork and urine, so we r sending a biopsy off to find out what kind of cancer (hopefully; just to know). Not gonna do chemo but gonna try to manage her discomfort with a cone and steroids. They will give us more antibiotics when she runs out in 2 days (if needed) They worked with me to get this done! They care here! They also recognized my status as a veteran and gave me a discount.

Edited to answer response from old line.. I declined the xray because I was told his lungs sounded fine . Regardless of significant mouth breathing.. Regardless of this the fact no antibiotics were prescribed was insane.. direct quote from other vet. Hislungs didnt go from "good" to terrible 86% oxygen level with pneumonia in a day.. And my cat isnt fine hes been fighting for his life since this.. because any form of proper treatment happened a day later then it should have.. im not a vet but I stated at the visit that I was 99% sure it was a significant upper respiratory infection based on the symptoms I knew alone.. antibiotics should have been prescribed as a precaution.. this would be known had there been a follow up phone call Took my cat in who was showing obviously signs of a bad

Our dog had concerning lab results during the treatment of an unrelated knee injury. We were referred by our primary care vet to get an ultrasound of his abdomen. I called multiple places and found long waits for appointments (3+ weeks). I called Old Line and they told me to bring him on in and they'd get imaging done same day. The practice was very busy ahead of a major snow storm, but the entire staff was kind, patient, and calm with every new person who walked in. The front desk employee walked me through intake paperwork and an estimate. He was transparent, thorough, and efficient. I dropped my dog off and later in the day, Dr. Saxton called with results. She delivered undesirable results in a informational, compassionate, and supportive way. She took her time to answer all of my quest
