We called Dr. Lindsay to get his opinion as to if our dog was in a position to be boarded to which he cited "yes". We learned of a new law making rabies vax mandatory at all boarding facilities. Our dog was allergic to the rabies vax to which Lindsay knew. In the past, when boarding, he provided a letter to that extent which would allow us to board before the new law without the vax. We asked Lindsay's opinion on administering the rabies vax to which he gave our dog the rabies vax together with an injection of Benadryl. Our dog started getting sick within a couple of days. He was drinking, urinating but was not feeling well from around 9:30a until 12:30p one day which is when we contacted OVMC. They told us to bring our dog in to get a nausea shot. Per my previous review and Lindsay’s response, nothing I cited was unfactual. On Lindsay’s part it was not factual, ie calling their office hundreds of times, etc. I spoke with Lindsay on February 3rd to only be spoken to in circles by Lindsay commingled with him citing his curriculum vitae and that he’s practiced for over 20 years. His response was unacceptable and bottomline malpractice given this was the second time in approximately two months he suggested our dog was due to be put down when another facility cited the opposite. This place is so amazing! From the vets to the techs and the front desk, everyone is wonderful. We have been coming here for almost 5 years now and would follow them anywhere. Our male shepherd has separation anxiety and our female shepherd hates her feet being touched. The people that work here are all caring and gentle. If you are looking for a place that will care for and love your pets as you would then look no further.

I just wanted to take the time to share how wonderful thestaff is at the center. A call to make an appointment for a dental concern when I tell you they really help me lower my anxiety. They were kind patient knowledgeable and so empathetic. I needed to get an early appointment she called me back maybe an hour or two later to get me in sooner she knew how important that was for me and the fact that she took the time to do that was just so amazing. I haven't even received the service yet but when I tell you the way I felt after getting off the phone just made everything so much better.

We have used OVMC off and on for 28 years and recommended them to countless others. However, after a completely botched $6K surgery with Dr Holt (a traveling surgeon used by OVMC regularly) a years worth of rehab $4K and surgical removal of the hardware $3.5K *also noted to be the wrong size* and absolutely no compassion or empathy from the office manager (who was extremely rude and unprofessional from the start of our conversation) - who would also not provide any contact information for Dr Holt himself, I would not recommend this office to anyone. This is a reoccurring issue with this surgeon and the office continues to deny this. The office staff referred to Dr Holt as a surgeon multiple times - he is in fact not a surgeon, he is a veterinarian who performs surgical procedures. He is NO
