Would not recommend for cats, the first time we brought our cats in for shots one did not do too well, and my husband ended up with the syringe for her rabies shot in his hand instead and the cats paperwork got updated with “needs bubble helmet immediately” because she was considered dangerous. We kind of joked it off that she was not a fan of the vets, and a free rabies shot wasn’t the worst! Fast forward a year or so, we bring in our other cat to be groomed (who was there the same time last time, for rabies shots) and they said they have no record of ever seeing her so they had to do shots on her just in case. Okay? She was there to be groomed, so the rabies shot was a must, but I specifically asked for her NOT to be shaved (she’s a long haired cat and that isn’t healthy for them). The

Have always used this vet and have always been happy with them until recently. My dog had been vomiting and blood in stools. They got us right in and did a lot of testing. Sent us home and had us come back the following day for repeat x-rays. I was told the x-rays looked better, was sent home with several medications and told if there is no improvement by Friday to call back and they would get her back in to do a few more tests. Friday came and my dog was worse, very lethargic. I called first thing Friday (Ottawa office) The receptionist stated the specific vet was working in the Streator office and I would need to call there. Novak-Rinker has been so helpful in helping our dog that we adopted from a shelter. Her chronic ear infections were all but eliminated so our Ruby could live her best life with us. ❤️ So happy we went there!!
