Northwoods Animal Hospital

I have been taking my dogs to Northwoods for about 25 years. We have seen various vets throughout the years, most recently Dr. Hudson and Dr. Chappel. They are always kind and compassionate and it always feels like they take their time and make sure you know everything you need to about your pet. The vet techs always take their time to put my nervous dog at ease. The staff at the front is always friendly and helpful. I would recommend Northwoods to anyone who loves their pets.

We met Dr Melissa Hudson. 5 Stars ! A veterinarian thats is owned and operated by a family. I had a good vet, but it doesn't compare. I'm so glad we took our dog here.

We had an amazing experience with Dr. DeAngelo and her team! From the moment we walked in, they were incredibly kind, patient, and attentive—especially with my dog, who tends to get very nervous at the vet. Dr. DeAngelo and the highly professional techs took the time to answer every single question thoroughly and never made me feel rushed. It was clear they genuinely care about both their patients and the people who love them. They were gentle, accommodating, and incredibly thoughtful in their approach, making sure my dog felt as comfortable and safe as possible throughout the visit. I left feeling informed, reassured, and truly grateful to have found such a compassionate and knowledgeable vet. Highly recommend to any pet parent looking for top-notch, empathetic care!
