I’ve been bringing my cats here since 2020 when my previous vet couldn’t diagnose what was wrong with my eldest cat. It turned out that he had an abscess and needed to get it taken care of asap. When my other cat was diagnosed with a terminal tumor, they were extremely nice and I made the transition very easy for my old boy Toro. Dr. Soboroff is the absolute best! Everyone on their staff is also amazing. I’m looking at you Justin! I’ve been very satisfied with the care, service and professionalism of this office over the years and will be taking my cats here as long as they are around, and I recommend anyone with cats to bring them here for their healthcare as well.

Peter Soboroff is the best vet in New York! All our cats are comfortable with his gentle and connected attention. He is kind, knowledgeable, intuitive and supportive. His staff are always caring, willing and accommodating.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Kathryn Gilbert and the team at New York Cat Hospital. Walking in with my cat i could immediately feel the difference. For the first time ever, I felt like someone was actually looking at my cats health as a whole picture instead of just putting out little fires. I came in with a long list of concerns about my Manx cat and honestly expected the usual shrug and vague reassurances I had gotten elsewhere. Instead, Dr. Gilbert sat with us, listened to every detail, asked questions that showed she really understood what was going on, and connected things no one had ever connected before. She explained what she was thinking in a way that felt collaborative, not rushed or dismissive. I left feeling like my cat was finally getting the kind of thoughtful,

I can’t find the words to describe how great this place is. I have a very aggressive cat and no matter what i did he was turning into an absolute demon when we go to a vet. New York Cat Hospital staff was able to take care of my baby the most gentle way possible. For some reason my baby is just very calm here. Everyone is super friendly and supportive and they make sure that your cat gets the perfect treatment. Highly recommended to cat owners.

I couldn't recommend NY Cat Hospital enough. Dr. Soboroff and Dr. Gilbert are the most exceptional vets I've worked with - each kind, patient and thoughtful. Dr. Soboroff will frequently work late to call his patients, which I believe is a testament how unhurried I've always felt in our visits. Dr. Soboroff even runs a marathon every year in an effort to raise money for underserved senior cats, and yes, he runs it in the shape of a cat! I've been coming here for over 10 years, but it was when our girl June got her wings that they were their finest. So incredibly compassionate the whole way through - I found at least 3 reasons to go back to say goodbye and hold her one last time and never felt hurried. Dr. Gilbert also wrote us a very thoughtful card of condolence a few days later. As our
