Myownly Boarding Kennel

The staff here is so welcoming. We've boarded our dog here at least 4 times. He can be suspicious and wary of new people but he seems to always love coming here. It's very clean and in a peaceful setting with lots of room for walks and outdoor time. Our last trip was 2 weeks over the holidays and they sent us home with a stocking for our little guy and some treats when we picked him up. Plus he came back walking better on a lead than ever before.

I highly recommend Myownly Boarding Kennel. The owner, Cathi, took time out of her busy schedule to do a tutorial groom on my 7-month-old Giant Schnauzer puppy. My goal is to be able to groom my dog at home and it was very helpful to get advice and tips from someone with several decades of experience. The staff were all friendly and very accommodating. The facility was clean and professional. My puppy was not an easy dog to groom but Cathi handled him perfectly and he eventually settled into the groom. I know what I need to work on with him to improve his grooming tolerance and to develop my own grooming ability thanks to her invaluable insight. I can't thank everyone at Myownly enough, their services and staff are excellent.

I took my dog to be groomed here and when I walked in I was given a contract that asked for my credit card information to authorize up to $500 of charges in case anything happened to my dog. I started to fill it out but then decided I really didn't feel comfortable with this so I asked for my dog back and canceled. The owner man and the receptionist laughed at me and treated me horribly instead of acting like a responsible business owner and compassionate person by respecting my wishes so I could leave and take my dog elsewhere. Instead, he refused to give me my dog back unless I gave him back the half filled out contract with my credit info on it. We've been taking our dog to Myownly for several years now - every trip we take. It was clear from the very first that they know dogs *very* well, and care for them very well. While she has been very happy to see me when I pick her up, she has never once seemed "desperate" to get home...only excited. And each time I bring her in for a stay, she goes willingly to her run. I highly recommend Myownly.

We are so grateful to have found Myownly Boarding Kennel! We had a family emergency and recently rescued a dog who is displaying some fear aggression with a bite history. They were open to meeting us and him, and were able to board him for a long weekend last minute. They went above and beyond to take care of our little guy and understood how to manage the risk, but were realistic about expectations. The owner and staff are truly exceptional.
