Murray Animal Shelter

Had my grandkids dogs euthanized and they wanted to say goodbye but could only do so if they paid $2,300 dollars. Their dogs didn’t deserve it just for fighting another dog that is known to bite humans and had multiple other dog fights. They just care about money not the animals or their family members

I was told that this Murray location was racist and very disrespectful towards people of color and after our latest interaction with their staff; I am starting to believe it. I have accompanied my white friend to pick up a lost pet, and her experience compared to the disrespect and general nasty attitude my niece experienced well… maybe different employees but if that’s the case they need to do better!

I got sent here from a guy at Devore animal shelter which also had a locked door with a dispatch number . A guy in work truck told me all the dogs get sent here to Murray. Wasted the gas and time to drive over and hit another dead end. Place is closed to public .

Staff is very helpful and friendly. Had puppy treats on hand which really help calm puppy down. Went in and got Final Shots in less than 10 minutes and I'm back out the door. Inside scale to weigh your dog. Super friendly staff can't say that enough. Would recommend this location to anyone.

These people took the cat we’ve been caring for and took him by force. By far the worst people we have ever dealt with. Trying to protect and take care of animals? Yeah right. I would avoid at all costs calling these people or even associating with them. Horrible. Give me back my cat.
