I brought my pet in for a routine nail clipping. He left limping & wouldn’t get up other than to eat & go outside for 2 weeks. I brought him back for help. I had to schedule an appointment for an x-ray another 4 days late. I took him in for the xray & was quickly dismissed because thay said they couldn’t handle hime…he was nipping & restless. Well no shit. I did receive a prescription for gabapentin to help with his pain. Subsequently I took him to my previous vet who was very able to get xray’s & give a full report the same day. Subsequently I needed more gabapentin from Murlen. And as usual couldn’t get ahold of anyone on the phone. So I stupidly ordered his meds on their website. He has been put now for a week. We stopped in to ask if we can get any help getting the meds. No luck. Murle

Full disclosure, I’ve been going here for years! The retired vet really cared about the animals and looked out for owners and never penny gouged but today our relationship ended with the new vet Jennifer McDermott and her unprofessionalism and lack of empathy. I do also want to preface this and say the office staff is absolutely wonderful. Brielle is a ray of sunshine and goes so above and beyond her duties. Brandon has always been amazing and I appreciate his careful handling and swift action. And all the others, I’m sorry I don’t know your names, you have always been so fantastic. My 13 year old chihuahua was due for rabies. I get it, it’s a law and there are liabilities associated. As a former law enforcement worker, no one knows and understands this more than me. HOWEVER, there could

I have been taking my animals to this practice for over 30 years. We loved our previous vet and his staff. Since it was bought out it has changed! They have no empathy for the animals. Many times I have called and not received a call back. I have had to just drive up there to talk to someone. My dog got sick over the weekend and I called first thing on Monday morning and kept trying until I finally got hold of someone around noon. I wanted to see my vet or I would have just taken her to an emergency vet. Dr. Chall had the receptionist tell me that they were busy and couldn't see her and that she did need to be seen so to take her to an emergency vet. This is just not acceptable. I tried to give this practice a chance and I am so sorry that I did. I found another vet that could get her in a

This used to be a great vet, but it’s turned into a scam. I took my healthy 5 year old lab in for an insect bite that turned infected. She walked into the exam room and without doing a proper exam on my dog’s leg or taking my dog’s temperature the new vet told me that it looked like cancer and an xray would be needed. Since I was scared to hear cancer and extremely caught off guard, I agreed to an xray. I should have stuck to my gut because the xray looked great and it was in fact a soft tissue infection and he had a 103 temp (taken after the xray). $500 later, I received the simple antibiotic that would take care of the issue. I typically do not write reviews but I want to make other people aware so they do not get scammed like I did.

My family has been taking our dogs and cats to this clinic for as long as I can remember, 15+ years. I am so disgusted at the changes since the new ownership. Last night my dog had a seizure, he recovered ok but it was a first for us so I called the clinic 1st thing this morning a woman answered and I started to explain what happened something felt off, she kept saying im "sorry to hear that" so I asked are you a human? no I was getting fake sympathy from AI! I asked to speak to a person "all reps were busy" so I hung up and called back to leave a message. its been 6 hours and no one has gotten back to me! Raised prices and employees that dont care! Murlen clinic is 2 blocks from my house but I'm going to start traveling 30 minutes to a vet Martin city because they are still family owned
