We have a deaf dog with a complicated past and terrible anxiety. Prior to getting him, we were told that he was running circles non stop and getting bloody paws. Anytime he couldn’t see us, he was frequently running these laps, sometimes for hours at a time on our camera. Although we successfully kennel trained all our other dogs, we had no success with training Moose. We chose this business as the trainer responds super quickly and I had reached out to her a few years ago with questions on Moose. We finally decided to enroll him in class. I will say, for it to be successful you really have to have the time and be willing to do the homework, outside of class. I have a small dog that is not usually used for service, they accepted the challenge, letting me know their trainers have a small dogs of their own, and they are capable. After two weeks of training my dog is now trained. My dog walks closely on a leash, sits when I stop, has no problem in crowds or with other dogs, has a small mat where she will stay until I tell her she can get up. Most of her training is intuitive so I don't have to say anything. Some of the places she has been: airports, an inside mall during the holiday, restaurants, and hotels. Very happy about the experience and her training.

We had a very successful training course for our two GSD’s! Both have learned important obedience commands and calmed down quite a bit. We were educated on the use of several training aides, which has given us a much needed foundation. We feel more confident when taking them out in the public, and it had brought me closer to both dogs! I highly recommend this training group. Such a helpful, kind, and personable trainer! As new dog parents, we felt reassured and supported the whole time. Both of us + our dog had so much fun, and it was nice to see him use his brain (bonus points he was so sleepy when he got home) It was amazing to see how much our dog learned in such a short session, and we left with great tips to keep training going at home. Laurie is the very best. I’ve worked with her in constuction and personal with my dogs. She really knows her stuff. Very kind, smart, respectful, and punctual. Got the results we were after with out Cane Corso, and our labs. My go to with anything dog related 💯. We wanted chill dogs that are good around kids and she delivered!!
