Ive been going to Mt Airy Hospital since 2009 I believe..all of my cats I gad or have now have been compassionately and generously taken care of by the staff there. Dr Lauderdale and Dr Emily Seymour and a previous doctor are my cats' pet favorites. There was a male vet who was very vivacious and engaging with my cats too. This doctor had health problems...no longer at Mt Airy Animal Hospital. He would get on the floor and play with my male cat. The veterinarians there truly care and are professional and knowledgeable. They have been there and helped my cats and me financially able to pay for my pets car e with carecredit, cherry.com and payment arrangements once in a while. They given so must compassion to me and all my cats over the years that shown me how to reciprocate love and compas

I was very happy with the care Sweet Pea received. I noticed how gently each person treated her, and how calmly she seemed while being touched by so many people. Dr Seymour was wonderful, and Sweet Pea seemed content with her. < br />I also appreciated the recommendations made weren't excessive; meaning I didn't feel like it was a guessing game involving medications and treatments thst may not be needed. < br />I also felt respected and heard. Dr Seymour, I have never seen Sweet Pea that comfortable with someone she just met. I really appreciate your relaxed approach about Sweet Pea's care, and ruling out unnecessary treatments until they may be needed. Also, Thank you for letting me know that I can reach out to you if/when I may need to. It proves you care about your patients and their hu

Our cats always get terrific care at Mt. Airy Animal Hospital, and we love Dr. Brunetti and Dr. Lauderdale. They take their time with both us and the cats and explain everything clearly. The vet techs are all great, too. And the follow-ups by Jenny are amazing!

I have a 15 year old spaniel mix who has had recurring urinary tract and ear infections.over the last couple of years. I decided to take her to this clinic to see if they suggested different treatments. They asked me to bring in a urine sample which I did and while i was there they took a blood sample. They suggested basically the same treatment but also mentioned a possible x-ray which would have added $165 to the bill. Since I had not gotten a blood test before I decided to go with the ear cleaning, urine test and blood work first before getting an x-ray. At least that was what I thought was agreed upon. I thanked the technician before I left for administering the ear drops whereupon she said that she hadn’t in fact done so! The vet made a remark about “crossed wires” and put the drops in

I have been using this practice for shots/ checkups since moving to Mt. Airy. Always had a nice experience. Last week we took our boy in very last minute when he started acting lethargic out of the blue. Dr. Emily was incredible and walked my partner through everything that was going on with him. She even gave us her phone number so that we could contact her after business hours (seeing as I was at work during the appointment and had questions when I arrived home.) After speaking with her again later that evening- we made the decision to take him down to Penn. They verified everything she had said ( and were able to run a few more diagnostics that she was not able to do with her equipment in office) and helped us peacefully put him to rest. I am so grateful to her and the rest of the vets
