Mountain View Veterinary Hospital

Mountain View has been our vets for about 25 years. They have treated more than ten of our dogs and cats over the years. I always feel seen and that my pet is genuinely cared about. Maxine went in for bronchitis and got loving excellent care from everyone. We are seniors on a budget and I appreciate that they take the time to advise on options and costs of treatment.

Had Great experience at Mt View Veterinary! Provided excellent care to my 6yr cat completing vaccinations, animal physical exam, antbiotic med to tx bite from cat fight with another cat. Good f/u. Reasonable cost for vet services provided. Office is clean and good waiting room. I would refer my friends to this Vet office Jane S.

My little dog had a bladder infection and bladder stone. We treated the infection successfully. The bladder stone was quite large, and the vet at Mountain View told us the best way to deal with it was surgery. When my dog had surgery there before, they intubated him so many times that they exacerbated his collapsed trachea, So I was worried about that. The vet was so negative about my dog surviving this. She told me that he had a four out of five risk for surviving surgery, which means only 20%. Then she said if he did, his trachea would probably give him problems and that could kill him. She said if he was three years old, she would say go ahead, but he was 12 1/2 and didn’t have very good odds. After much deliberation and anguish, my husband and I decided not to put him through any more

The doctors and staff are caring, responsive, and highly competent. When my dog unexpectedly needed surgery on the weekend, they were able to give him the help he needed. They’ve also been extremely helpful answering my follow-up questions and providing guidance about normal healing vs. cause for a re-check.

I absolutely appreciate Mountain View Vet for getting my cat Alder in on such short notice. They realized he had a couple abscesses and got him into surgery the same day! I can’t thank them enough. they did forget to send home the cat cone that I requested and paid for since I didn’t have one but the online after hours Vet talked me through a couple options to get me through the night. They also refunded me for the cat cone. To sum up; Mountain View Vet was very helpful, got me in quickly, and fixed a very small mistake. I highly recommend using their services.
