Modesto Family Pet

🐾I couldn't be more comfortable taking my fur babies here and entrusting their care with Modesto Family Pet. The vet and staff are very knowledgeable, compassionate, and kind. These girls sure know how to keep your babies happy and safe during an appointment.🐾

I took my senior dog to Pelandale Vet to have bloodwork done as he hasn't been eating well since his brother dog died. I was charged 500.00 for bloodwork and then told everything was fine; however, he needed dental work and to go to Modesto Family Pet as they do dental work. I was also told I would not be charged as it was simply an appointment to schedule the dental work. The vet there told me she was not comfortable with my dogs bloodwork! And that she wanted to charge me 288.00 for a urine test and gave me an estimate of 2300.00 for the dental work if they could do it!!! They charged me 100 for that visit!!! I felt very uncomfortable with the inconsistency of what the "sister" vets had told me about the bloodwork. I took my boy to another vet and was told he was perfectly healthy and ch

Best vets on the planet, the only place I will take my dogs. I trust. Them with my life and my dogs.

I have been taking my cat to be treated there and he was very sick. Every time I went in the “vet techs” or assistants have not been friendly. I will say I did love my vet he was very compassionate and nice. I went to take my kitty to get put down because he wasn’t doing good. Well the vet told me I could stay in the room the whole time as long as I hold him tight because my cat only likes me and was a very stressed out guy. I have had my cat since I was 16 and I am 28 now he was with me every day and I just wanted his last few moments not to be stressful that’s all I wanted and the assistants/tech was extremely rude no compassion on her face at all and said that wasn’t possible to stay in the room because I could get hurt. I expressed that I do not care if I get hurt my cats last moments

Omg talk about the nicest people (all staff)!! Very welcoming. My frenchie really loved her (the vet). You can tell they care ❤️
