Highly recommend Modern Dog if you'd like to learn how to properly train your pup! Amanda is extremely knowledgeable about dog behavior and was able to teach us the proper techniques for managing our Italian Greyhounds energy and demand barking. We did the in home training which was very convenient and have had extremely positive results after the 4 lessons we purchased.

Fabio and I attended puppy preschool, puppy obedience, and puppy playgroup and we couldn’t have had a better experience! The team at Modern Dog is experienced and kind, and we both gained the foundation we needed for continued training and growth. Fabio picked up on good behavior from the classes alone, but the team provides homework and support so that you and your dog can keep learning at home. They also were very understanding about scheduling issues and accommodated my shortened timeline for class. Overall, I appreciated the patient and wholistic approach that Modern Dog takes, and I look forward to future classes there! Huge thanks to Amanda, Ava, and Kayla for all your help :)

I just completed the personal training program with Amanda Cassidy. The methods work, the skills she taught us corrected his poor behaviors. She also taught us training techniques and methods that will help us to continually improve. Amanda showed me how to train my Tucker. He is a rescue that is around a year old, and had no training whatsoever. He was uncontrollable on a leash. He would jump on people, he would nip and bite my arms and legs. After completing training he is a pleasure to walk, he no longer bites and nips. He has become a well mannered companion. Thanks Amanda and Mondern Dog Training

My dog, Stone, and I have had a positive experience with Modern Dog. Trainers Amanda and Kelsey have been responsive to his unique needs throughout our individual lessons working on dog- and people-based reactivity. They ask questions and truly consider his profile when working on strategies and techniques. I appreciated the thorough initial assessment and the session notes and homework in between lessons! Kristin and her team are awesome! I've had such a positive experience with their private sessions. I have a highly anxious rescue, and Kristin's advice & training has made both of our lives so much better. My girl is much happier, more well rounded, and listening much better now. Although our initial pack of sessions is over, we plan to have occasional follow up sessions to keep our girl's training skills sharp!
