While giving Rue her last camp trip ( her favorite thing ever) she took a turn for the worse. Came to a family members farm in Bend. Called Dr. Hays, she was able to come out within a few hours, being from out of state we were worried about finding help. She was quiet, respectful & compassionate. Exactly what we needed, as we knew what to expect. So grateful to find the right person to peacefully & gently help Rue end her cancer ordeal. 100% recommend.

Dr. Libby Hayes made a traumatic and painful experience easier for our family. She is not only an extraordinary veterinarian, she is also empathetic, kind, caring, and was very respectful of our loss, and our grief. My beloved dog, my best friend, soul mate, and fur baby, was able to go to the rainbow bridge in her own home, surrounded by her loving family. I feared the day we would lose her for so long. And although I am beyond heartbroken, I have the comfort of knowing her final moments were of love and peace, as opposed to trauma and fear. When we reached out to Dr. Hays about our 19 year old cat Linguini we were unsure about knowing when to call her to come. She sent us information about quality of life and a pain scale which was so helpful that when we made the call, we felt peace with our decision. Having her come to our home was the best decision! Linguini was terrified of going to the vet and we did not want our fur baby's last moments to be fearful. Dr. Hays was so patient with all my questions and let us know what to expect during the process. Her calm and kind manner made the worst day a little more bearable.
