I adopted my 2 rabbits from here, they were spayed, litter box trained, and well taken care of! When you adopt, you get a membership for a year and can shop the bunny store! Their prices beat everywhere else for hay and things! So knowledgeable and they have such wonderful volunteers! I will literally NEVER go anywhere else.

This is such a lovely place! All the rabbits are very well taken care of, the staff is extremely knowledgeable, and the store has loads of rabbit friendly toys, hides, treats, and even stuff for humans. They also sell orchard grass hay which is awesome because tractor supply struggles to get their supply in regularly and my husband is allergic to timothy hay. There are many lovely, friendly rabbits here who adore attention. Seth the harlequin is one of several darlings more than happy to soak up all attention ever. It was nice to see rabbits so comfortable with human interaction, they were happy to beg for pets. I have adopted many bunnies from them over the years. They are wonderful and the volunteers work so hard to make sure the bunnies receive pristine care. They are very passionate about education to ensure the bunnies go to good homes and have lots of excellent advice. We have been so grateful for all of our sweet HRS bunnies and will continue to adopt from them in the coming years!! We love the store as well!

Do not adopt from them!!! I called seeking help finding a new home for my rabbits and explained my situation honestly—that I purchased rabbits from Petland without being told their genders, which resulted in unexpected babies and financial strain. Instead of offering guidance or compassion, the woman I spoke with corrected me harshly by saying I “bought” them, accused me of neglecting my rabbits, told me I was her “20th caller,” and then hung up on me. I reached out because I wanted to do the responsible thing for my animals. Being judged, dismissed, and cut off mid-conversation was extremely upsetting and unhelpful. If you are overwhelmed, that does not excuse treating people this way—especially those asking for help for animals’ well-being

Put in a application wanted to adopt and not shop. But places like this make it difficult drive two hrs away and jump threw hoops for people so desperate to adopt these rabbits out. If you have 100s of rabbits I would think you would be more than willing to work with them. And saying you don't trust adopters vet is bull. Do your research as well before certain community before saying theres no exotic vets. Which there is vca has. if i raised my own rabbits for a decade and my vet spayed all of them. Do not recommend this place. Read reviews other than there volunteers.
