I came in with very low expectations — a last-minute visit for my cat who thinks she’s a dog with a neck wound not knowing what to expect - the cat was fine, I was not. From the moment I called, the front desk was genuinely helpful and got us in quickly. The room we were placed in was calm and comfortable, not overly clinical, which helped my cat start to relax and even nap at her first vet visit, my other cat would have clawed the door off. When the doctor came in, her loving bedside manner for animals put me at ease immediately. Y’all are fantastic. My baby girl and I have moved around a couple times and you guys are by far the best vet clinic we have gone to. Sure, most pets are going to be a bit stressed at the vet, but my girl is acting like her normal self post visit and had some zoomies, ate her food, and is now basking in the afternoon sun on her perch. We have had experiences that were very negative and I’m so grateful to y’all! And thank you Dr. Mar!!! Side note, they really personalize everything and make sure you get the information, care, and support your pet needs. Plus the cute whiteboard sign just shows the attention to detail. We were staying at Camp San Luis Obispo and woke up one morning to find that one of our golden retrievers had an irritated and droopy eye. As soon as Mission Animal Hospital opened I gave them a call. They were able to get Sunny in mid-afternoon. It turned out that she had a small puncture or scratch on her eye and it was starting to get infected. In just about an hour we were seen, they tested her eyes and got her started on a treatment. Every single person at tat clinic was kind and compassionate and clearly love animals!

We love Mission Animal Hospital. They are always excited to see my dog (they seem fine with me as well), and have made all procedures understandable. From our old girl (RIP Miley), to our new pup (Lady Belle!), we are going to be using them for quite a while.

Worth every penny of care! Clean, efficient, caring, personable, and all very nice. I honestly highly recommend this place. I think that I’ve never felt more safe at a vet in my life. Very happy to bring my two-year-old beagle in and my eight-year-old long hair calico! Thank you Mission Vet! Just as a sidenote, I’ve worked at a couple different dog resort kennels in town. So with that said, I really just wanna emphasize that I know a decent amount of dog care and I know a great deal about customer service and patient care one of the best bets in town.
