Misguided Mutts Dog Behavior Training

Rich and Christina are the most amazing dog trainers! After adopting our boy Cabo, we had some serious dog fights and issues with our girl Bucca. After calling several trainers and being told there was no hope for us or Cabo, Rich called me back and said yes there was! With a lot of patience and hard work for everyone involved, we now have the most lovable and friendliest dogs. Forever grateful for Rich and Christina.

Paid for exceptional dog program for 3 week board and train for basic training (dog had no behavioral issues). Rich might be great at curbing those issues, but as far as meeting the expectations called out on the website for basic commands, my expectations were not met. The only real issue we brought up was jumping on guests, these issues did not improve at all. As far as the commands, none of them (sit, stay, place) were repeatable, and to perform under ‘heavy distractions’ was really non existent. I will admit I didn’t do the follow up appointment, but in all honesty I refused to pay for more instruction when the original didn’t work. Me and my wife frequently joke the about our 3000$ leash, the only thing we really got out of the program, but it has since (in the last 4 months) broken.

I highly recommend Misguided Mutts. Both Rich and Christina helped my daughter's dog when he was a little over one. He had bad habits of counter surfing, pulled when walking him, and just your basic pup behaviors. He is now four years old and is doing great. He definitely remembers his "free commend." They are very professional and have a lot of knowledge on all situations around a dogs behavior. Plus they have a pack of their own and love your dog as much as theirs. We can't thank them enough.

Rich and Christina are amazing! Our German Shepherd had some serious reactivity issues after a big move and they were so patient with her! Now we're able to take her with us on vacations and can manage her triggers confidently. We still use them for boarding if we go places that don't allow dogs!

Amazing from start to finish. Our dog had the basics but needed some fine tuning. Was easily excitable, leash aggressive, anxious, and peed around the house out of spite. Its hard to leave you dog with a stranger and trust that they are in good hands. At drop off, it was obvious Rich has a love for dogs and was in good hands. At pick up, Rich provided us with great training and guidance to help us continue at home. On his first walk at home, it was clear that he was a different dog.
