Dr Parkman and her staff are simply amazing. Our beautiful Lemon Beagle crossed the rainbow bridge there and it was as peaceful as it could be. She drifted off to sleep with her family by her side. Our Goldie girl was an older girl with health issues and she was in pain. We miss our pup so much! Her brother misses her. Thank you all for being so kind to a room full of people. We will continue to travel 45 minutes to see you with the rest of the animals! 💙

A friendly office staff easy to deal with and Dr. Parkman is the best! Always willing to answer questions and spend a lot of time with her doggy patients. And she's upbeat and positive. Best vet we've ever had!

I cannot recommend Dr. Parkman and staff enough. My dog was a sweet girl at heart, but incredibly anxious and afraid at the vet and would turn into a demon. The entire staff consistently exercised kindness and patience each visit and did everything they could to make her feel comfortable all the way through her final moments. They treat your dog as if it was their own. You will not find a better practice.

I brought my dog, Whiskey, to Best Friend Vet in the fall of last year. On our first visit, I was initially impressed by Dr. Parkman— she sat on the floor and spent 45 minutes petting Whiskey, which felt caring and reassuring. Unfortunately, that first impression did NOT hold. Over the course of three months of repeated visits, exams, and extensive blood work, Dr. Parkman repeatedly told me that Whiskey’s illness was a “mystery.” It was NOT Dr. Parkman, but ME, who eventually discovered Whiskey’s swollen lymph nodes. Only then was it determined that he had cancer. I am still deeply troubled that a veterinarian who had been examining my dog regularly and weekly failed to notice something so critical. Whiskey began chemotherapy the following week. During 6 full months of cancer treatment,

We love Dr Parkman. She has cared for our dogs for many years. She’s very smart, loving and kind. She’s also very brave and good with our little dog Dozer. She saved his eye when it was badly scratched. And she knows how to handle him too.
