Mill Brook Animal Clinic

Just wanted to say a special thanks to Dr. P. She was so sweet and helpful the other day, and was happy to take care of Molly at the last minute. I know that she is excited about all the new changes that are coming at Millbrook Animal Clinic and about it becoming more people friendly and available to the neighborhood, and I think she is definitely on the right track! I've been going to Mill Brook for the past 5+ years, through all the recent personnel changes, and one thing has always been true- they are caring, thorough, and thoughtful. They are always willing to take the time to answer any questions I might have, and I know they adore my pup and only want what's best for him. During his most recent procedures (which were fairly extensive), I never felt pressured to do more/less than what I thought was necessary after getting all the facts from Dr. P. and Dr. Suzanne. I also find it very helpful that they can do everything at this location- echos, ultrasounds, dental work, etc- it makes it very convenient!

Was a customer of 12+ years and sadly this clinic has gone down hill. Bought our 12 year old dog in for a checkup in August and let the vet know he was panting a bit more and drinking lots of water. They said he was in perfect health. Less than 3 weeks later we rushed him to emergency to find out he was full of cancer and we had to euthanize him a day later. Mill Brook never called to check up after the initial diagnosis or extend any sympathy after his passing. They seem more interested in pushing tests and making money than actual caring for pets. Sad to see the downward slide.

We've been increasingly dissatisfied with the care we receive at Mill Brook. We started going to Mill Brook under Dr. Fallon. All of the previous staff appear to have left when Dr. P bought the practice. None of the front desk people appear to know anything about the practice. The one vet I've seen didn't bother to read our dog's file when we came in for a sick visit (only pro to this practice now is being able to get a sick visit quickly, probably because so many clients are leaving). We had an appointment for a vet tech visit for some shots, which included rabies, and they changed the appointment to be our dog's annual visit the day before our appointment via TEXT, and did so on a weekend for a Monday morning appointment so there was no way to call the office to understand what the appoi

We’ve been going here for more than 15 years, when it was under Dr. Fallon (and whoever proceeded him.) While the vet tech was very nice, it seemed like a sales pitch from the moment we stepped in. They wanted to treat our dog without testing first. Btw, they charge for a blood pressure check. We had to sign an AMA (Against Medical Advice) for refusing to treat without the test results. Truly disappointing how this clinic has fallen apart. It feels like it has really imploded. We are on the search for a new clinic, and I suggest you do too.
