Mid-Cities Animal Urgent Care

I have gone here on two separate occasions for my cats and the quality of care and attention I get here is always fantastic! The staff is very caring, has great communication, and took good care of my cats. The vet there (Virginia) has great bedside manners and made me feel heard and explained everything so well. Even the techs helped me feel informed and prepared when it came to after care and medications prescribed. I Absolutely love coming here because I know (even in an emergency) they care and do their best for my girls! I definitely recommend stopping by and checking them out!

My small yorkie was seen in January after being attacked by a large dog at his petsitting facility. At that time, my family and I were in Iceland and could not get home immediately to attend to him. I received a call from Dr. Munson, informing me of the gravity of his injuries and her concerns. She explained her plan for his care, diagnostics and surgery; all while she walked a very professional line of optimism and hope but also truthful, realistic outcomes for him, both of which I was most grateful for. Dr. Munson was the veterinary angel, you would want for your pet, in such an impossible situation. I cannot speak highly enough about her. THANK YOU DR. BRASEL & THE ENTIRE MID-CITIES ANIMAL URGENT CARE TEAM!! I am incredibly grateful for the care my sweet girl Lovey, my Shih Tzu–Poodle mix, received at Mid-Cities Animal Urgent Care. When Lovey suddenly became very sick, it was terrifying. Anyone who has had a pet facing a serious medical issue knows how emotional and overwhelming it can feel when your dog essentially feels like they’re in ICU. Dr. Brasel was absolutely outstanding. She was calm, thorough, and extremely knowledgeable while evaluating Lovey. She took the time to carefully assess what was going on and was able to diagnose Lovey with diabetes while also quickly identifying signs of pancreatitis, which helped explain why she had declined so rapidly. Dr. Brasel communicated everything clearly and compassionately

We are so thankful that we were recommended Mid Cities. We brought our dog, Waylon, into the vet in a panic. After a day of previous visits at other vets with no answers and no improvements, Dr. Hurd was able to see us right away and provided quick, extensive, affordable care for us while answering any and all questions. She explained everything so clearly and took extra time with us to make sure we were comfortable taking Waylon home. She gave us a treatment plan that got our baby feeling better within a couple hours. He hadn’t eaten for 3 days and with Dr Hurds guidance and medication plan he got home and ate a full bowl of food all on his own and is on the road to recovery. This past Friday evening, we had to rush my beloved 8 pound Yorkie to Animal Urgent Care Mid-Cities. From the moment we got there, they were attentive and caring! I really appreciate the advice Cindy gave me when I came in distraught and how kind she was. I truly felt like Bailey was in the best hands with Dr. Brasel and everyone who treated Bailey! The entire team is truly top notch!
