They are wonderful and very caring. Bought my kitty Jasper in that my granddaughter and I rescued to be neutered. When I picked him up, they asked if I had any questions and I did. The vet that took care of him was busy. They did call me later and left a message answering my questions. They have vet services there and you can adopt pets there as well. Thank you for the care and love you put into Jasper. 😺❤

This is one of my all-time favorite humane societies. I adopted my cat from them, and when I got another cat, I brought my second cat to get neutered. Everything went smoothly, and it was a breeze.

They've been taking care of my pups for 12 years, I can believe it's been 12 years. You name it, they've seen us for it... Spay/neuter, wellness, preventative care, injury check up, and even surgery. Pretty sure if we moved away, I'd still make the trip, because at this pt. they're family.

My puppy was sick so I took him in approximately 35 minutes after they opened. There was one gentleman sitting in the waiting area and 3 women sitting at the front desk, only 1 of them addressed me to ask of my needs. She went to the back and spoke to the veterinarian on duty who stated he couldn’t see my puppy without an appointment although there was only 1 person waiting. I will never go here again nor will I continue to donate to the Michigan Humane Society!!!

All I can say is WOW!!! I will be sharing my experience with everyone I know! Just took my two dogs here, Hanz - German Shepard and Rosco - JackChi. My now old vet of 20 years was going to charge us over $700 for an annual visit for them both, including heart worm prevention for 3 months. Humane Society Westland only charged us $$390 with heart worm prevention for a year!! And, the staff was phenomenal! Everyone paid attention to my animals as if they were the only dogs there! I will be coming here for now on! Keep up the awesome work! Hanz and Rosco say, “Thank you, team!”
