We had a fantastic experience adopting our new family member, Paris, from Metro East Humane Society! My first adoption was great but my second experience wasn’t as great. The dog was sick and very skinny. The kitten had fleas. When I got home about three hours later the dog had snot coming out from his nose and he was having a slight problem with breathing. I called them to let them know but never received a call back. I nursed the dog back with warmth and affection and food. He is recovering. He should have never been up for adoption until he had some meat on his bones and was healthy.

Did a drive adventure with Feta a toy terrier. He was so well-behaved and followed me everywhere. He got a DQ pup cup, which he enjoyed immensely. Had a nice 1 1/2 hours with him. He and his mate need a home, Brie.
