This was the best ER veterinary experience we have had. Caring, efficient staff. The receptionist checked on everyone in the waiting room and apologized for the wait, even though, i believe, everyone expected it for an ER. The techs were very caring with my dog, Mabel. Dr Stoneham was wonderful, she was so caring to my baby and very informative and supportive. I truly appreciate the entire staff. The building was really clean and comfortable and I loved the windows in all the doors. Thank you again for all the help.

I called ahead to see if they could deal with an open wound & if they were busy. We were greeted upon entering. Registration was smooth. My only suggestion would be to have a hook there, at the desk, that a leash could be wrapped around. Juggling my dog’s record folder, purse, & a dog was a bit much. But overall, impressed with cleanliness & direction signage. We were in, stapled, discharged, relatively quick & efficient. They sent the record of the visit to my regular vet. Also, followed up with a phone call to make sure she was doing ok. We’ll return for our emergency needs, if needed.

MedVet Pittsburgh (McMurray) was a pivotal part of our dog Miles’ life, and Dr. Christine Anderson’s care changed the course of it. In 2021, Miles was diagnosed with mast cell tumors at a time when we were in the middle of a major transition and urgently searching for the best option for him. Through research we learned about Stelfonta (tigilanol tiglate), which was still a relatively new treatment in the U.S. at the time. We found Dr. Anderson at MedVet and made the trip from West Virginia because we needed an oncologist who could evaluate Miles thoroughly, communicate in facts, and build a plan based on evidence — not guesswork. From our first consultation, the difference was clear: Dr. Anderson was exceptionally prepared, calm, and direct, and she took the time to answer every questio

I would give them 100 stars if possible. I took my baby girl in on September 10th for a nosebleed. While we were waiting, they brought her a blanket to lay on. This was the start of a five-night ICU stay, during which she received a blood transfusion from a staff member’s dog. I was able to take her home for a few days, then had to bring her back for what would be a six-night ICU stay. I visited every day, and each day I was greeted warmly—just as I was when I called. While there, I was treated like the only customer that mattered, and Stevie was treated like the only patient. They spent hours with me, making sure all my questions were answered, and when I cried, they simply let me—they never tried to rush my emotions or my decisions on any of her medical options. The staff was always

From the front desk clerk to the techs and the physicians, my girl was taken care of very well, and I was pleased with everything that they did. They allowed me to stay with her the entire time during her endoscopy procedure for an accidental swallowing. They are open 24/7 which was a blessing even though I had to travel quite a distance. I would definitely recommend.
