Dr Boyd is very thorough and compassionate. This is a wonderful practice. The staff are exceptional. There is excellent boarding if required. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Dr Boyd has now seen two of their dogs through their lives.

We took our dog there for care the past year and they are the best Vet we have used in 14 years. They are the most caring people and they were AMAZING with us when the time came for our pup to cross the rainbow bridge. Thank you Dr Candy!

Dr. Candy has been our vet over past 10 years with five of our dogs. Three are no longer with us. She is extremely pragmatic about all issues. She has proven to be a superb veterinarian. I would not consider anyone else. Highly recommended

The weekend before the 4th of July one of our Doodles was bitten by a copperhead in our yard. Being a Saturday, my husband loaded our Eddie into my car and I drove immediately to Dr Candy Boyd @ McNeal Veterinary Hospital. They were very busy that morning, but the staff got Eddie seen by Dr Candy soon after. She examined, confirmed several puncture wounds and quickly started an IV and administered some fluid and drugs. Meanwhile her office manager arranged for Eddie to receive antivenom at the Mt Pleasant Emergency Veterinary Hospital. When I arrived at the Mt Pleasant Veterinary Hospital, we were immediately acknowledged and treated successfully. Kudos to McNeal Veterinary hospital, Dr Candy Boyd and staff!

Highly recommend. We were on vacation and needed help for our pup in a hurry. The doctor and staff were so helpful. Thoroughly explained X-rays and and were the absolute best! The price was very reasonable. I’d give more than 5 stars if I could!
