I have an almost 14 year old dog (Betty) who is terrified of thunderstorms. McClain taught me how to lead Betty through some simple standard behaviors such as “sit” and “down” etc. with rewards and praise all of which distracts her from her thunderstorm fear so we both are anchored is what we know and each other.
