I was interested in a dog, I have everything updated. All because one of our dogs wasn't neutered due to health issues. The guy who we spoke too was rude. They want to get these animals home but won't allow a good home for them. Here's what she's missing out on.

Wow. I would never recommend this place to anyone. The lady who answers the phone needs an etiquette class on how to speak to people and a huge attitude adjustment. It seems that she has no interest in helping any animals at all and just wants to make owners who need to surrender a pet feel like horrible people. Surrendering an animal is so heartbreaking but she has not an ounce of compassion in her heart and only wants to make people feel worse than they already do. I don’t know why any business would want someone like that to be the first person people talk to.

I called and was able to come in the same day! I adopted my precious boy and am so grateful! All shelters are overrun and busy right now, but this shelter is run by a few really caring people and you can tell.

The receptionist when my husband called about a month ago needs to be fired. She never said her name (obviously because she wouldn’t say her name and run her mouth like this because she wanted to stay protected). My husband called and inquired about surrendering our two dogs because they are not family friendly pets. We had gotten these dogs 5 years before having kids and have given it 2 years to try and make things work but we have come to the conclusion that things are not going to change. After speaking with the receptionist, she informed my husband that “she isn’t going to put an aggressive animal on the list and that we need to take care of it as a responsible dog owner ourselves and to take care of the issue”. We called to surrender an elder cat we took in from someone that passed away. We had called other places and they suggested we call this place. My boyfriend was just explaining the situation to the lady and I assume she thought he was arguing with her and I'm not sure but she continued to get loud and yell in the phone(I could hear it on the other side of my apartment) , interrupting constantly yelling while he's trying to talk. In exact words said to my level 2 autistic boyfriend " why are you not understanding what I'm saying" as rude as possible. He asked to speak to a supervisor/someone of higher position and she laughed and said "ok". Truly disgusting behavior from someone that helps animals. Yikes, who knows what this woman is doing to these animals behind the scenes. 😬😬 Nasty, rude,
